hiking.
Breath-taking views
Pertisau and Lake Achensee are a true hiking paradise.
Across the region, you will find a hiking network comprising 450 kilometres of signed and well-maintained trails. Choose from flat paths along the Achensee, leisurely family hikes or challenging summit tours through the Karwendel and Rofan mountains.
Our favourite tour goes to the Bärenkopf – you can reach the summit in 2 hours leaving from the mountain station of the Karwendel cable car. At the summit cross, you are rewarded with a magnificent view of Lake Achensee and the Tyrolean Inn Valley – up here, time and space are blissfully forgotten.
The Achensee Tourist Association also offers a weekly hiking programme with guided tours from May until October.
golfing.
on the most beautiful courses in the entire alpine region
The Golfclub Achensee has been included in the “Leading Golf Courses” and in 1934 was one of the first courses in the whole of Austria. Our house is situated right by the second tee; the clubhouse is just a few minutes’ walk away. Golfclub Achensee is actually said to be one of the most beautiful courses in the Alps, on account of the special landscape in Pertisau.
Guests staying at the Alpenvital enjoy a 20% green fee discount.
We will, of course, be happy to reserve a start time for you at Golfclub Achensee. Simply tell us your handicap & home club – we’ll take care of the rest!

family holidays.
at Lake Achensee
We are quite sure you want to spend your holidays with your children, but how is it here for kids big and small? In the event that they should want to head out exploring on their own, there is a terrific activity programme organised for children and young people during the summer months at Lake Achensee.
The little ones are accompanied and looked after by Wusel the water sprite ….. so you can enjoy some time alone together without worrying about them.
